Retraction & Correction Policy

Upholding the Integrity of Academic Records

JASBaP is committed to maintaining the integrity of the academic record and ensuring the accuracy of published research.

Criteria for Retractions or Corrections:

Plagiarism Significant overlap with other works without proper credit.
Data Fabrication Manipulated data or fraudulent research findings.
Ethical Violations Breach of research ethics or human rights protocols.

Standard Procedures:

  • Transparency: All corrections will be clearly identified, labeled as "Erratum" or "Corrigendum", and permanently linked to the original article.
  • Retraction Notice: If a retraction is necessary, a notice will be published in the next available issue and linked to the digital version of the paper.
  • COPE Compliance: JASBaP follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) flowcharts when dealing with cases of suspected misconduct.
JASBaP reserves the right to issue retractions to protect the scientific record from misleading or untrustworthy publications.
