Journal of Applied Sport Biomechanics and Performance (JASBaP) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes research articles in the field of sport biomechanics and athletic performance. The journal focuses on the development of evidence-based knowledge to enhance training quality and sport performance.

The scope of the journal includes sport biomechanics, strength and conditioning, neuromuscular adaptation, performance analysis, as well as sport rehabilitation and therapy. The journal covers the disciplines of sport science, health professions—particularly physical therapy, sports therapy, and rehabilitation—as well as medical aspects related to sports (sports medicine).

JASBaP is published by PT. Mitra Inovasi Olahraga in collaboration with the Faculty of Sports Science and Health, Universitas Negeri Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The publication process is conducted through a double-blind peer review system to ensure academic quality and scientific integrity.

The inaugural issue (Volume 1, Number 1) is scheduled for publication in June 2026
